FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often about scam recovery, case assessments, and what to expect.

Can you recover money lost to a scam?

Yes we can. However, we cannot guarantee this for all cases. Recovery depends on a number of factors and varies from case to case.

What types of scams do you deal with?

We have expertise with all forms of scams, involving but not limited to investment scams, cryptocurrency scams, forex and trading fraud, romance scams, payment and banking fraud, impersonation scams, fake brokers and platforms. If your situation does not fit neatly into one category, you can still submit an enquiry and describe what happened in your own words.

What information should I provide?

Share as much detail as you can in our case form. Once we receive your case details, we will be in touch if we need more information.

How does the assessment work?

After you submit an enquiry, we usually ask for supporting details — receipts, dates, correspondence and transaction records — to build the strongest possible case. From there, a consultant is assigned to your case to review everything, explain the assessment, and discuss next steps.

Is recovery guaranteed?

In many cases, yes — our consultants recover funds for clients regularly. What we can promise on every case is a thorough, honest assessment and full effort behind any recovery we take on. Because every case is different, we don't promise a specific outcome before we've reviewed the facts of yours.

What should I do after being scammed?

Stop all further payments or contact with the person or platform involved, secure your accounts and devices by changing your passwords, and gather together any records, messages or transaction details you have. After which, you should submit a case assessment enquiry to us.

Can financial transactions be traced?

Yes. We use advanced methods that make tracing various forms of financial transactions possible.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?

We confirm we have received your details within 72hours. We usually request a bit more information — receipts, dates and other supporting details — to better understand the parameters of you case. From there, we assign a consultant that reviews everything, explains what they found, and starts working on your recovery.

How long does a case assessment take?

This will be communicated by the consultant assigned to the case. However, depending on the complexity of the situation and how much information is available, a case assessment could take slightly longer.

Do you charge for a case assessment?

No. We do not charge any fees for a case assessment. It is completely free.

What happens if nothing further can be done?

If, after a case assessment, we do not believe there are viable options to pursue, we will tell you clearly and explain why.

Can you guarantee a specific timeframe for results?

We move as quickly as your case allows. Once your consultant begins your recovery, we give you a clear timeframe and work hard to meet it — though the exact timeline depends on factors like the type of scam, where funds were sent, and which institutions or platforms are involved.

What if the scam involved an online relationship?

We are experts in all forms of scam recoveries, romance scams inclusive.

What if I was scammed through a forex or trading platform?

We handle forex and trading scams recoveries. We have a team of experts that can assess your case.

Should I contact the cryptocurrency exchange involved?

Yes. If you sent funds through, or to, an account held at an exchange, contacting that exchange's support team directly and reporting the fraudulent account is advisable

Is the information I provide kept confidential?

Yes. We handle the information you share with utmost discretion and in line with our Privacy Policy. We would encourage you to review that policy for full detail on how information is collected, used, retained and deleted.

What if I already paid another "recovery" company?

This happens more often than people expect, and it is nothing to feel embarrassed about. Let us know what happened as part of your enquiry — it is relevant information and does not prevent us from assessing your case.
