Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Nine & Dunmore ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information in connection with this website and our case assessment service.
1. Who we are
Nine & Dunmore operates from offices in the United Kingdom (Core, 30 Brown Street, Manchester, M2 1DH) and New Zealand (205 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland 1051). You can contact us about privacy matters at support@nineanddunmore.com.
2. Information we collect
When you submit a case assessment enquiry, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your full name, country, email address and phone number
- Details of the person, company or platform you believe you lost money to
- The amount and currency of any loss, and any profit made beforehand
- A description, in your own words, of what happened
We ask that you do not include passwords, banking logins, cryptocurrency seed phrases, private keys, authentication codes or full card numbers in your enquiry. This information is never needed to assess your case.
We also automatically collect limited technical information common to most websites, such as general browser and device information, for the purpose of operating and securing the site. This website does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details.
3. How we use your information
- To review and assess the case assessment enquiry you submit
- To communicate with you about your enquiry
- To maintain the security and proper functioning of this website
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where data protection law such as the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR applies to you, we process your information on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the case assessment form) and, where relevant, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries submitted to us.
5. Who we share information with
We may share the information you provide with service providers who help us operate this website and process enquiries, such as email delivery providers, acting only on our instructions. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. International transfers
Because we operate in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand, information you provide may be processed in either location, and by service providers located elsewhere. Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to ensure it continues to be protected appropriately.
7. Data retention
We retain information you provide for as long as reasonably necessary to assess and respond to your enquiry and to pursue your recovery, and afterwards for a limited period where necessary for record-keeping or legal reasons, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect the information you share with us against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and we take the security of your information seriously across everything we collect. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nineanddunmore.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children's privacy
This website and our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version.
12. Contact us
